City of Lights Jazz & Rhythm and Blues Festival

For years, The City of Lights Jazz & Rhythm and Blues Festival has been a wonderful event here in Las Vegas. This year AV Vegas was awarded the contract to provide the sound and backline.  Sadly, the event was the last concert for legendary performer, Wayman Tisdale.  He rocked the croud with his performance and died two weeks later. He was an incredible performer and will be missed.  We used eight boxes of SLS RLA2 line array cabinets for the PA with our JBL Dual 18″ Vertec subs, of course and outfills to cover the areas on the sides as the venue is sort of in the round.

We provided a Yamaha PM5d for both FOH and Monitor world, that way it is easy to changover from one band to the next.
