Pre-Viz for Foam Wonderland Rave

It’s summer and Vegas is heating up, but things are real hot over at AV Vegas where our Lighting & Video teams have been doing a little pre-viz for a show coming up soon. Testing out a massive, 1.4 million pixel LED wall. Well… not a wall so much as a massive structure wrapping around and extending outwards from the DJ that will be playing in the center this weekend, where RVLTN will be bringing the Foam Wonderland, Sunken & Savage tour of 2019 to the Clark County Government Amphitheater.

It seems like just yesterday we were at the Government Center for Reggae in the Desert, proving our sound, lighting, video and backline services to another awesome show. Now we’re heading back… and we’re bringing the video to an extreme!

This level of production requires pro-level tools, and a little creativity. Our team pulled out the Grand MA 2, a video server running Resolume, a Pioneer DJ System with CDJ2000’s & a DJM900, and a Macbook Pro for TC’s Show Kontrol to tie it all together… oh… and for a little extra creative freedom… we borrowed an Akai MPK261 Keyboard from the Backline team to use as a midi controller.

Add to that bunch of Robe Megapointe’s, Martin Atomics, Ayrton MagicBlade’s, and our proprietary HellFire LED wash lights from the lighting department… and just remember we set this all up just to see how we liked it before the big show. That’s the level of passion we bring to our client’s events!
